Stuttgart is home to the second most popular football (soccer) organization
in Germany.
"The Reds" - VfB Stuttgart, (Verein für Bewegungsspiele
Stuttgart 1893 e.V.) is based in Bad Cannstatt and plays in the
Gottlieb-Daimler Stadium as part of the German
Football League.
The Stuttgarter Kickers e.V., otherwise known as "The Blues",
were founded in 1899 and play in the stadium in Stuttgart-Degerloch
as part of the Southern Regional League.
